Dubai Parks & Resorts
Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, just off Exit 26 from Sheikh Zayed Road, these are four parks: Motiongate, Bollywood Parks & Resorts Dubai, LEGOLAND ® Dubai, and a water park.
All of them offer unlimited entry passes starting at AED100 and go up based on your needs.
If you plan to visit more than one theme park or spend more than a day there, it’s wise to purchase an unlimited pass.
Each park also has its own individual pass that offers discounts (sometimes deep ones) depending on what rides you want most.
1. Burj Khalifa
If you want your Instagram feed to look good, it’s obligatory to get a photo on top of Burj Khalifa.
This observation deck is located on floors 148 and 153, which means you’ll have great views from one of the tallest buildings in the world.
Be sure to check out their website before heading up as there are restrictions if you’re traveling with kids (or pets), plus there are specific times when photography isn’t allowed.
Tickets can be purchased online or at Guest Services located by Gate 40 in Zone D. Reservations for groups of up to 10 people can be made by emailing. More information can be found here.
2. Dubai Marina
Enjoying an evening walk along Dubai Marina is a great way to see many of Dubai’s architectural landmarks and get some fresh air.
This area is popular for its parks, waterfront dining options, and shopping spots, but it’s especially wonderful for seeing stunning sunsets.
Take time before dusk to walk along JBR or one of Dubai Marina’s smaller waterways as you wait for a stunning golden glow that comes as dusk settles into night.
Don’t forget your camera – even with just your iPhone you can capture amazing pictures that are well worth sharing on social media later!
3. Bars in Dubai Marina
The Marina is a happening place to be when the sun goes down. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to have a quiet drink, or an action-packed night out on stage with your favorite DJ, there are plenty of options for everyone.
Some even offer free or discounted entry if you go on weekdays! Plus there are some awesome late-night hangouts that you can hit up after clubbing, too.
Just make sure you grab a bite before; long nights may leave you super hungry!
4. Hotels with Lounges in JBR Dubai
It’s hard to find any hotels in JBR Dubai with lounges, and they’re not as prominent here as they are in other parts of town.
However, if you stay at one of these hotels, you might be able to relax for a bit before heading out for more evening activities.
The best bets for lounges are The Address Hotel Beach Residence—there’s a nice area off their lobby that leads down to their beachfront; it even has couches and TVs where you can watch sports events.
The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Resort & Marina—their Sea Lounge has a great view and bar (and occasionally live music), but it only opens from Thursday-Saturday nights.
5. DJ Music, Drinks, Dancing & Karaoke Bars In JBR Dubai
There’s no need to feel lonely if you live, work or study near JBR. The area is packed with some amazing places where you can let off steam, make new friends, and party all night long.
One of my favorite places in JBR for casual drinks on weekend nights is Ice BAR by Julien Farel Aesthetics.
It’s a bit pricy, but it’s worth every penny. Drinks are served on ice so that there’s no place for them to go except into your stomach!

8. Visit The Atlantis Hotel
Located on The Palm, with complimentary bus transfers from Jumeirah Beach Hotel, The Atlantis has five themed water parks.
If you’re looking for things to do in Dubai, there are lots of fun activities on offer here that don’t cost a dime.
In addition to swimming and lounging in palm-tree-lined pools (the largest has an island smack in its center), you can sunbathe on beaches or take a dip in an outdoor spa pool.
Other low-cost things to do in Dubai include visiting Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark and playing some sand volleyball or golfing alongside sharks at Shark Reef Aquarium.
9. Go Out For Deserts after Dinner
